Essential Foto doesn’t use a close button for slides, unless you’re also using JetPack’s Gallery Carousel.
Instead, the main menu bar remains visible above the slider and you simply click a title to exit.
This isn’t really a bug, but may change in future versions of Essential Foto. For now, this simplicity might offer an advantage—If displaying several photos sections on a single page it isn’t necessary to keep track of which section to exit to, since the visitor will just use the menu.
